The GEMS project was presented for the first time on the TV show “SYNORA” of the Greek Public Television in the context of project’s communication strategy which aims to communicate its goals and objectives to wider audiences.
In his discussion with journalist Kalli Zarali, Bledar Feta, P/CVE Researcher for the South-East Europe Programme and members of GEMS research team of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), presented the goals, objectives and the working hypothesis of the GEMS project which aims to fight the rapid spread of extremism across the gaming ecosystem.
Among other things, Feta spoke about how different extremist actors, infiltrate digital gaming platforms to recruit supporters for their own purposes.
